My Reviews Are Being Ripped Off - The Gloves Now Come Off!
Success! I have defeated the scraper, all he got from me on his last pass by was my post title! No content! You must set your RSS Feed to short, to be somewhat immune to these pirates.
This happened to me as well a few times before. I've discovered a number of HOLLYWOOD SPY's stories on some peculiar sites and blogs. The funny thing is that they've even published or copied many stories which are connected to my polls and thus have the name of my blog mentioned in posts. Off course the stolen stories are being published randomly, without any order and without mentioning the authors. I don't know who is doing that and what's the use of it, maybe they want more hits as you said. It's a lost battle if you ask me. A total matrix :)
I agree it's a losing battle, but I personally feel better knowing that now anything this site rips off from me will have my site name all over it. If they're going to steal my stuff I'm going to have free advertising on theirs. The problem is these aren't random this blog is posting nearly everything I've written in the last month, and it's simply annoying.
Sad to hear this but unfortunately, there isn't much that can be done. One of the bad things that result from this is that Google can penalize your own site because of duplicate content. Something to stay on top of as webmasters.
@castor - I'm almost 100% positive this is a scraper site, which takes other peoples content from RSS feeds to get high search results and ad revenue. So I'm shorten the feeds to only a couple sentences, that should work, we'll see shortly because that site grabs my latest review everyday.
Thanks very much for visiting my blog and all the helps that you've given me. Really appreciate very much. I have just told a blogger what you told me how to change the RSS feed. I use WordPress and have just changed it to summary. It's just unbelievable that our hard wrk is just scraped off just like that! I think we can all help to look out for each other. Thanks again and have a nice day.
@Mary - no problem, thanks for your blog post, that will help a lot of people to be aware of what's going on. Before a couple days ago when I stumbled upon my posts on another site I has never heard of blog scraping, so people need to know.
@Castor - yea it fixed it, they are only able to grab my post titles now, they come up a little twisted word wise on their end. I might disable the RSS completely, I really don't know how many people even look at the RSS.

I'm looking for the following Barbara Bouchet films. Any help locating them would be much appreciated, and would assist me in watching and reviewing her entire filmography. You can contact me through the contact button near the top of the page! Thanks.
