The Virginian - Season 6 Episode 15: The Fortress (1967)

The 1960's were they heyday for westerns on television, you had Bonanza, Rawhide, The Wild Wild West, Gunsmoke (which I could never stomach), The Rifleman, and probably a slew of countless others that ran throughout the 1960's.  One of those countless others is a show I'd never heard of that ran a pretty amazing nine seasons, The Virginian.  Supposedly the series was the third longest running western behind Bonanza and Gunsmoke, and the was the first 90 minute western series.  James Drury played the lead character by the name "The Virginian", a Wyoming ranch hand foreman.
