Deadlier Than the Male is the first of many "retro" films that I hope to highlight on a monthly basis as part of the Cinema Retro Film of the Month, which are films from the 1960's and 1970's that are featured in the outstanding magazine Cinema Retro.  Deadlier Than the Male is actually a Euro-spy film I've been meaning to check out for sometime and finally decided to dive into after finally obtaining the final sold out back issue of Cinema Retro that I needed to complete my collection, and which happened to feature a very interesting and detailed article on this often misunderstood spy adventure.

Cinema Retro Film of the Month

Cinema Retro is a magazine I stumbled upon a couple weeks ago and fell in love with.  It's a series that covers films and actors of the 1960's and 70's and simply has a wealth of knowledge and pictures.  So in honor of this awesome magazine I'm going to start reviewing at least one film at the end of each month that is from the pages of Cinema Retro.  If you're into films of the 60's and 70's do yourself a favor and check this magazine out, they only print three regular issues a year and print a limited quantity of each issue, some of their issues are completely sold out and very hard to find (I know I've been trying).  Cinema Retro Official Website
